Silverstreak was established in 1981 as a commercial trucking firm. It was the vision of its organizers, however, to gradually diversify and transform the establishment into a full service transport company. With this in mind, Silverstreak launched
a long-term multi-faceted expansion program involving
forwarding and warehousing.

Silverstreak instituted corresponding development programs geared towards training personnel from department heads to rank and file employees and technical personnel to support these new divisions. Silverstreak's goal was to become a world-class one-stop transport specialist.

The outstanding performance of Silverstreak and the
investment boom of the eighties and early nineties prompted
the company to add yet another service to the company's
roster of services--project shipment.

The influx of capital equipment and the growing rate of Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) projects have necessitated the use of specialized transportation equipment and installation facilities to transport and erect massive or off-gauge cargoes. Silverstreak's keen planning, faultless execution and expert management of
projects have gained for the company an excellent reputation
in the Philippine cargo handling industry. Today, Silverstreak numbers among Asia's major players in this highly specialized field of transportation.
